Leon smiles at George with that spacey grin, and Foreman falls down for the count by agonizing laughter, that he starts crying at the feet of the world beater.

George Foreman KO 1 Leon Spinks

Leon lacks the size and defense to survive most big punchers

Leon is obviously going to get battered to a unconscious pile of flesh before the end of the first round . After seeing this fight his brother Michael would thought sod this for a game of soldiers and retired immediately

Foreman KO 1, you don’t run towards a puncher like Foreman, especially if you’re in the 200-210 lbs range and Spinks has every physical disadvantage

Cracking up. Poor Leon. Shavers might end it earlier, but the end result would be the same. Spinks wouldn't make it the full two rounds, and he'd be extraordinarily lucky to make it out of one.

All he knew was how to come in, often wildly. He was poor at trying other styles. His "classic" rush would be exterminated with the quickness.

I think making this over 15 is a tad optimistic.

    50/50 for mine.

When did Foreman ever beat a light punching, smaller, weaker, come forward, pressure fighter like Leon? The answer is never. So we are taking a leap of faith to assume George could contend with that style.

*Yeah yeah he beat Frazier but Joe hit harder than Leon and was more talented too. So George has to overcome those disadvantages as well. Leon also brings a weaker chin to the table. More factors that could confound Big George. I’m leaning towards Spinks now.

I think you must be being sarcastic. But if not:

If he could obliterate Frazier he could starch a guy who bulls forward like Frazier but is smaller, has worse defense and punches softer and worse chin

I mean he may be a little busier than Frazier but I see no problem for George to time him on the way in.
Leon is not getting inside without getting hit. And when he gets hit hes not gonna be able to take it
