He fought guys who were far smaller and lighter hitting than Foreman. Let's see him take a Cooney hook.

He took Baer’s punches and many from the murderous Louis before going down.

Braddock of the Baer fight vs Foreman of the Norton fight.

If Braddock made it into round three it would be a miracle in my opinion. The Joe King Roman fight comes to mind .

    Cheers All.

I'm not even sure this bout should get sanctioned, let alone worrying about what round Foreman would KO him in.

You're right....we wouldn't want Foreman to get hurt. Braddock wouldn't want it on his conscious should Foreman end up in a wheelchair.

I am going to say probably not.

Even with a hand injury, I can't see Foreman putting up such a lackluster performance.

The knockdown by Galento was questionable and max stopped a pre prime Joe.

"Third round ,he came out of his corner bleeding from his eye, nose and mouth.I knew I had him.I got too confident, though because before I knew it,he hit me with a left hook that set me right on my behind.

Braddock getting undersold here. His gumption would make him a threat for 3 minutes of every round.

Braddock was absurdly courageous and had a terrific chin .. I don't like his chances but I am one who finds Foreman version 1 pretty flawed ... a guy with a chin ( he had ) , stamina ( he had) , the ability to move a bit and punch a bit ( he had ), a big heart ( off the chart ) , some size 6'2" / 75" has a shot if he gets past the early rounds .. that said he more than likely goes out like Kirkman or LeDoux but one never knows ..
