Correct. Foreman and Ike had two of the best chins in the history of the division. Excellent observation!

I think Foreman stops Tua late but maybe with Tua on his feet

I thing Prime George Foreman would stop Prime David Tua, with some sort of TKO as the most probable outcome.

Wasn't going to respond to this but after rereading your response, and seeing all the falsehoods, I'm unfortunately unable to resist.

"Tua ko'ed an undefeated Ruiz who fought everyone."
Name one fighter, Ruiz defeated who was actually a semi-name at that point in his career.

"Stood toe to toe the rest of his career" I'm not even going to address this.

    "He flatted Maskaev"

Maskaev had 11 fights, at that point in his career. Tua also needed 11 rounds to finish when McCall never known as being an exceptional puncher, bombed him out in the first. Also, Tua was being outboxed until he got the stoppage.

"He beat Rahman" Tua hit Rahman after that bell to hurt him. Even so, the stoppage was very immature as Rahman was still defending himself and bobbing and weaving." Tua should've been dqed honestly. He was also getting outboxed handily before the "stoppage".

"He fought a terrific fight against Chris Byrd" Oh yeah I remember that fight. The featherfist Byrd, doubled over Tua with a body shot who backed away from engagement. Had that happened to Foreman, we would've never heard the end of it from you. He also lost fairly convincingly.

"Lewis flattens Foreman like he did Golota" 50-50 fight. I lean towards Foreman. Either way, if anyone's being flattened in this fight, it's Lewis.

"He won because he was so much stronger and in ways bigger than everyone else" You know their were fighters, bigger and stronger than Foreman back in those days as well right? You know who they were? Me neither. I wonder why that is.

That's a good point about Byrd hurting Tua with a body shot, I remember that clearly wasn't that in one of the later rounds ?

Honestly I still don't understand why he brought up the Byrd fight, I fail to see how it's a plus for Tua ?

Another thing to mention is Tua was in great shape vs Byrd, probably the best shape I've ever seen him in quite honestly. Yet he was still clearly outboxed and out fought.

I like Tua as a fighter and his power can be dangerous from round 1 to 12 which makes him dangerous to an extent. But hes still pretty limited and style wise he don't match up well vs Foreman.

If your losing over 20 rounds vs the likes of Rahman, Maskaev, that tends to point out Tua's limitations as a fighter.

Because you for starters can't differentiate a faded Frazier with his style , age at the time, mileage at the time from a prime Tua, say the one that fought Ike , you simply categorized them all as swarmers. Was a prime Tyson a swarmer too ? ... as far as your mutual back slapping, cheering section goes, and one time at band camp .. .

So a 29-0 Joe Frazier who was considered the number 1 Heavyweight in the world was faded ? but yet i'm supposed to be overly impressed with Tua dropping a decision to Ike Ibeabuchi ? who was virtually untested against any world class opposition at that point ? the most notable name Ibeabuchi had beaten prior to facing Tua was Marion Wilson if you can believe that.

My issue with your previous posts was you trying to paint a picture about Tua's fights with Rahman, Maskaev, Byrd, which had no context behind it. You were basically trying to say how Tua was "impressive" in those fights. When if anything Tua showed his limitations as fighter in all 4 of those fights, and really i'm a bit baffled how any of those fights are a feather in the cap for Tua against Foreman ?

As for Frazier, Tua, Tyson, comparison apart Tua having a very good chin, i fail to see that he really does anything better than Tyson or Frazier ? I agree Tua isn't a swarmer quite like Frazier is, nor is he as dynamic or athletic or as skillful as a prime Tyson is. So what does he bring to the table that will trouble Foreman ? that's what you haven't really established what so ever in my view.

As for cheering section ? i never asked anyone to agree or disagree with me, nor do i need anyone to back me up in debates i'm fully capable of doing that myself. Normally i don't have a problem with your posts but i've found a few of your points in this topic to be a bit baffling to be quite honest.

Literally none of this is true.

He beat Pires and Chuvalo by hammering away with his jab.

Lyle was just as strong as him and he brutally knocked him out.

Frazier had many similarities to Tua and was actually better.

Im going with Tua only because he is a big underdog based off the poll and I like going for the underdog.

Pretty rich coming from the guy hyping up Tua's losses to Byrd and Ibeabuchi, while simultaneously downplaying Foreman's dominant win over the 29 year old undefeated heavyweight champion.
