prime george foreman vs prime mike tyson

  1. funny because you are using a finished mentally version of george to say that tyson might hurt foreman too, i might say that if buster douglas could ko tyson,if frank bruno or holyfield could hurt tyson, then i can say foreman would kill tyson before to start the fight.

And you know this, because, let me guess you sparred with all of these guys right?
whether Lyle beats Ruddock or Ruddock beats Lyle isnt the question, the question i asked was who hits harder out of these two?

Rudduck was a murderous puncher in his prime. Tyson says till this day he's the hardest puncher he ever faced. If I was betting I'd say Rudduck.

According to some Lyle hits harder because he dropped the mighty George Foreman

Tyson ate Ruddocks punches with a smile

I find Ruddock a bit overrated. He was okay, and a good fighter, but who of any signifigance did he beat ?

  6. well, in my opinion lyle was a bit harder puncher than ruddock, like i said, lyle did his pro debut in his 30s, ruddock did it when he was 19 and their %ko was similar. not to mention that lyle faced better rivals... ali(he gave a fight to ali),foreman(he gave the hell to foreman),jimmy ellis, shavers, bonavena, quarry, peralta,a prime joe bugner(when lyle was 36).
the best rivals of ruddock were 35 years old mike weaver(23 years old ruddock won by sd),32 years old michael dokes(not a great thing),34 years old greag page,36 years old james smith and ruddock was destroyed by lewis, morrison and defeated by tyson.

  7. he is absolutely overrated

I'm a huge fan of both, but I say big George lays out Tyson in the middle rounds. In a bloody war!

foreman had 1 of the best jabs he could and did put people on their arse with a jab!
hes alot better technically than you give him credit for.
tysons style is complete suicide vs young foreman he just cannot compete physically with him
georges chin was always right up there with the best aswell tysons was good but thats about it

I used to think Foreman would KO Tyson for sure. I was probably underating Tyson a bit.

I believe it could go either way honestly. Two great punchers. If Foreman uses his jab he has a good chance to set up that uppercut. Tyson on the other hand had quicker hands and he was dangerous from both sides of the plate.

I could see George leaving himself open with some of those wide swings and Tyson really making him pay.

Id lean towards Tyson because of his speed and accuracy.

George Foreman would squash Mike Tyson. It would be like a MAN vs a boy. Foreman has the size and toughness to withstand Tyson's assault, while Tyson doesn't have the mental strength or stamina to go up against a body-punching lumberjack who can cut off the ring while having power to lift people off the ground with his uppercuts.

Young a bum beat the prime Foreman.
The ko percentage is useless but Young's is ridicolous:Try to believe !
It's hard !!! 19.64% and this bum KNOCKED THE SUPERHUMAN PRIME
    FOREMAN DOWN !

    But what's Young's record? w34(ko11)-l19-d2 and 447 rounds.
Like i said the record isn't important but this proves every Foreman
fan must be modest ! They have good reason !
In my opinion prime or the old as hell **** Foreman was a "no win"
situation for Tyson considering the haters' opinion about his Holmes
    4 round ko win.
And some idiota Tyson haters cry for a old Foreman-Tyson fights.
These idiots didn't care an old Foreman-Tyson they just pretend this.
Prime Foreman ? The featherfisted Ali destroyed this version.
The incredible featherfisted Young beat and knocked the prime George down.
Lyle a mediocre man knocked Foreman down.
Was the prime Foreman impressive ? In the dream, yes .
He was slow and easy to hit Tyson wasn't.
The reigning ch. James Smith- who was taller, bigger and much more muscular than the
the 6'3.5" 217-220 pounds Foreman- landed only 51 punches/12 rounds against Tyson.Tyson landed 191 punches against Smith.
The prime Foreman looked like punchin bag against Lyle.
Considering these things i can't imagine a winner Foreman against
    the best or worst Tyson.
