    But he doesn't!

    He splits series with them.

He picks up losses, an perhaps stops none of them!

Joe Louis couldn't stop Farr and neither could Max Baer in two fights. Lyle is not likely to stop him.

Lyle couldn't kayo a shot Jimmy Ellis where are people getting this idea he is a huge banger. He was also schooled by Quarry losing every round and his punchers never seemed to affect the smaller man in the slightest.

A poor resume and unanswered questions dont matter when the opponents lack the chin and skill to survive more than 6 rounds at best.

Errol spence doesnt have a particularly great resume but in 1000% certain hed stop guys like paulie malignaggi or zab Judah even tho they have a more impressive resume and a stylistic advantage.

I'm talking prime vs prime. Foreman was a total headcase by the time he fought Young in 77. His heart clearly not in the game, and really hadn't been since his loss to Ali in Zaire. Thus we got the oddity of him fighting 5 fighters in one night, and his lackluster effort against Young. I dont believe Young would survive Foreman prior to Ali.

The person who came closest to stopping Farr, I mean when it actually would have counted for something, was Lou Nova.

You're right of course, he was a powder puff puncher.

Bear was past prime based on what exactly? Farr was never stopped in his prime despite facing some big hitters. I think its extremely unlikely Lyle could stop him. Lyle has very few stoppage wins over ranked opponents let alone someone whose durability is as proven as Farr's.
