Ali had how many wars? True alt greats! Foreman, Fraizer! Tell me in what war ggg had been to be called past his prime? He fought now better quality and its show he its not that good! Plain and simple

    Age and wear.

Didn't he have like 350+ amateur fights?

How many wars has Ward been in? Ward is clearly on the downside, and he's only 33.

Fighters age at different rates. Pressure fighters age quickly.

But beyond that, GGG is slowing down in terms of reflexes and timing. That's just age. And I say that as someone who is in his 40's who knows what the aging process looks like.

I thought Alvarez was much better than G, so we disagree there. Both men had their moments though, and it was a good fight. I really don't have any complaints. I was thoroughly entertained and I look forward to the rematch. It will be interesting to see what kind of adjustments the two fighters make the next time around.

Golovkin kept his word, he fought Mexican style, Alvarez said he would fight toe to toe because he was Mexican style, it turned out that Alvarez fought El Pollo style. I have the fight 8 rounds to 4, same as Harold Lederman. You have to give the fight to the fighter who controls the fight, makes the fight, lands more punches, Alvarez fought in spurts, ran out of gas, ran most of the time. Mexican fans cheered Golovkin, they booed Alvarez, because Alvarez lied to them...........................I sure hope you did not agree with Byrd's card, she needs to be banned from judging for life and investigated. The polls on the Internet had Golovkin winning clearly, by far..................

I thought G won more than 2 rounds. Didn't agree with Byrd's card, however I thought Canelo took control of the fight in the early rounds, and got out to a commanding lead. It wasn't until the 5th round that G was able to turn the momentum with that right hand with 1 minute left in the 5th. That changed the fight, then Canelo started backpedaling for several rounds, though he still was landing the better punches I thought by setting traps for G, but you certainly can make the argument that he was fighting in spurts and that G won most of the middle rounds with his constant coming forward. I thought Canelo was having his way with G until G started to land in the 5th. For the first 4 rounds Canelo was outworking G and landing the more significant punches. After that G asserted himself and gained control of the fight until the 10th when Canelo rallied. Good fight though, and a clean fight most importantly. No low blows, no rabbit punches. I can't complain. I was entertained.

has it ever occurred to you that GGG wasn't really landing as many punches as Lampley was claiming?
