    Loses to Ward
    Loses to Stevenson
I think I would favour kessler from around the calzaghe fight

Carl 50/50, but I'm leaning to froch who is more battle tested as a pro against serious opposition

I'd favour GGG over Benavudiz, then again, I'm not sure?
GGG could have moved up rather than fighting geale and lemuix types and we would have our answer

Should have added Calzaghe. I know he's a little before his time, but he would absolutely play with GGG at 168

I'd definitely favour ward the most

    Edit

I know this seems harsh to his fans, but I doubt his style would have been as imposing at 168 and these guys are also more skilled than his opponents

I think he could potentially beat all of them. I think when he lost that bit of speed at the backend of his career it clouds people’s judgements now.

Obviously Ward is the toughest challenge and a good bit bigger than him.

I would favour him vs Froch and Kessler. Froch is not the worst fighter on the list but he is the smallest naturally and would have a difficult time with his style.

I also think Stevensons explosive style would leave him in trouble in the mid to late rounds. But he’s a lot bigger and a lefty, and can bang so who knows.

He does not beat any of them. He went life and death with Derevyanchenko and Danny Jacobs. GGG was 5'10 and low 170s on fight night. All those guys are over 6 foot and just much bigger in general.

Prime GGG will have no chance against a Prime Adonis Stevenson or Prime Andre Ward it will be at least 75/25 not equilibred at all .

For Carl Froch it's very close for sure and maybe I will said 60/40 for a prime GGG

Benavidez vs Prime GGG = 50/50 very close fight

And Prime GGG vs Mikkel Kessler = 60/40 for prime GGG

I'd back GGG against Froch, and Kessler.

Ward, Stevenson, and Benavidez are super tough fights for GGG as his style wouldn't be as effective going up in weight against them.

TKO's Ward. Kovalev put Ward down with a half extended RH. Golovkin doesn't have quite the same power but would land a lot more in close with both hands and is good at 'technical' wrestling unlike Froch who was neutralised by Ward grappling him all night. Ward doesn't have the power to trouble GGG that much.

Stevenson is dangerous but also in Golovkin's wheelhouse at 5'8 and doesn't have the greatest chin so Golovkin TKO there.

Points or TKO against Benavidez who was a sparring partner so I doubt Golovkin was overly troubled by him. Not skilled enough. Not enough power.

Kessler is a tough fight, quite a bit bigger and hits much harder than Ward, good chin. Close one probably.

Froch is probably like the Kessler fight, hits harder than Ward and great chin, plus engine. Possibly the toughest fight but Froch is easier to hit than Kessler. But then again Froch outboxed Kessler easily in the second fight and Golovkin is a better boxer than Froch, though with less reach.

Yeah, Froch has the best chance against Golovkin of all of them. The Froch that fought Groves I is a difficult night for Golovkin who does not have more power than Groves so Froch will keep coming and swinging away and landing. Both are going to be marked up badly. Probably a pick'em points war.

Thing with Golovkin is you have to have a great chin and/or amazing power, that's why Ward is going to lose. Stevenson has a chance with his power but it's more of a puncher's chance. Froch and Kessler have both chins and stopping power, that's why they have a better chance.

He loses badly to all except possibly may be Kessler. But if Kessler comes in and fights like man, he would lose to him too

Prime GGG definitely beats Benavidez who has great workrate but is nothing special in any other area.
