Same height and reach. Oscar has a lighter frame but he fought bigger frame guys. Oscar was in his prime at 147 , GGG is at 160. Sat the fight took place at 154

Golovkin by stoppage middleweight seemed a weight to far for De la Hoya

Pound for pound, Oscar all day. Golovkin has not fought at the level Oscar has. Oscar fought every style and fought them when they were at the top, hungry and prime. Vargas, Sugar Shane, Trinidad, Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao. Who has GGG fought?!!

at Middleweight GGG wins, due to size alone.
at 135-154 i see prime Oscar boxing his head off.

If you are going to compare fighters compare them fairly.

De la Hoya's prime was at 135 though. His highest profile bouts were at 147 and above but the best version of Oscar was at Lightweight and he was a fuc*ing animal at that weight. Probably the most destructive lightweight not called Duran.

Yeah of course GGG wrecks him h2h but in a mythical p4p clash it is damn close and that is a massive compliment to Gennady.

I know he did you muppet cant you see i listed Hopkins as his opponent. Like i said "compare them fairly". Middleweight is not his natural weight is it. Thats why i said pound for pound who the better fighter is.

Its like saying who would win Tyson or Roy Jones. Just because Roy fought there doesnt mean thats where you compare his body of work.

The funny thing is out of those 6 fighters you mentioned, Delahoya only beat one of them and that was after he was ruined by Tito

GGG beats Delahoya all day at middleweight, stoppage inside 4 rounds

I think Oscar would acquit himself well, as he had an iron chin and struggled more with speed than power punchers. May be hard to overcome the size obstacle. I think GGG would win a close decision.

A very underrated win on Oscars resume is over Javier Castillejo, who would of course go on to capture a Middleweight title over should have been Oscar conquerer Felix Sturm.

Considering Oscar would always be trash at 160, regardless if he were in his prime or not, this is a dumb question.

    GGG by KO.

He beat Vargas, he also arguably best Shane once and Tito. He was drained (his own fault) against PAC and got smashed by Hopkins. (And PAC)

Also had close fights with others

A good measure would be his fight against strum, which people say he lost too

GGG smashed through DLH IMO at middleweight round 5-7
