Doesn't seem nostalgia to me at all seems like a mental problem/bad vision that needs to be fixed,this is the world area why is it people are this way in this area? This area is meant to be realistic i thought..,even in classic people shouldnt be saying stuff like a fighter from 30s would beat a way more up to date one in 90s, like they didn't even move as much in 20s-50s not just that they didnt move as fluid or was as skilled this goes for every sport since 20s-50s vs 70s-90s

 

If short arm Canelo gave G hell, 5'11, Robinson could touch G up as well. Add the better footwork and speed of SRR and I see SRR winning.

So if you look at it that way, Canelo has always been more skilled. But that's the only possible argument for saying Canelo is more skilled than Robinson.

Comparisons make no sense? LOL. This should be an interesting conversation. Nothing I said in my OP was inaccurate. SRR was faster and had better footwork. Canelo has very good head movement and counters with explosive shots. Really has nothing to do with skill level, but more of how the fighters styles match up. G's ability to cut the ring off could possibly nullify SRR's footwork. As I said before, G isn't an easy night for any MW in history. But, SRR isn't considered the greatest because he's a slouch.

 

You people seem to always do that which is odd,looking at footwork/speed only why is that? what about the upperbody? cause when I see srr I see a out of date fighter with mutiple flaws ali fixed, and added to so no I don't see srr as you cause he wasnt as you said he is like I said which is a out of date fighter and can would run though him,so yea comparisons make no sense cause your acting as if what I said isn't true when its on video...

Why didn't ali take srr exact style?,its cause he knew it was out of date and be wouldnt he able to do good at hw using it he seen the same flaws I seen and updated them
