Golota is a choker and a headcase.

Even if Golota had Bowe's number, he'd find a way to lose like he did in their two bouts.

Golota was most certainly prime in those fights. Prime Bowe, probably woulda won though...

Gotta disagree there. Tyson wasn't in the best shape, granted, but he was most certainly in his prime when he fought Buster.

Whereas Bowe was basicly shot after the third Holyfield fight, and was completely out of shape.

Bowe was over weight in the first fight and weight drained in the second fight, to top it all off he was hit in the balls repeatedly, which takes a whole lot of your fight game. You put the 92 Bowe against the 96 Golota, Bowe would of knocked out Golota in 3 rounds, he would of took his heart away with one landed overhand right. Golota got good skills and size, but Bowe is just a superior fighter in his prime, if you tell me Golota would of beat the Bowe that fought Holyfield in 92, your just lying to yourself.

He landed tons of overhand rights in both fights.

Weight drained in the 2nd fight:lol: Dont make me laugh i never knew a HW had to make a weight limit:rofl

He came in in better shape in the second fight and still got destroyed.

They fought in there primes and Golota retired Bowe early.

The 92 version of Bowe was not the same as the 96 version of Bowe, anybody with any boxing sense could see that. Golota was getting frustrated because he couldnt knock Bowe out, thats why he chose to keep low blowing him, that was his way of quiting the fight. Golota is mentally weak, Bowe in his prime would of exposed that very easily.:yep

Bowe does better, but Golota is still a horrible style match-up for him.
Big and strong enough to lean on and nullifty Bowe's much-vaulted right uppercut on the inside, with enough range and speed with his jab to out-jab Bowe, and has enough power to hurt Bowe.

Mind you, it'd still probably end on a DQ! ;)

The 96 Bowe was coming off a more convincing defeat of Holyfield than the 92 Bowe! He had just KOed Holyfield in the fall and then signed to fight a Golota who was still climbing his way into the top 10, Andrew had never fought anyone like Riddick Bowe to that point. I don't care what anyone says, Bowe was 28 when he fought Golota the first time around and was coming off a KO victory of a Holyfield that one year later would smash Tyson convincingly!!! Why would Bowe be past his prime with the competition that he had faced in his career! Outside of a smaller Holyfield, Bowe fought none of the top contenders at heavyweight. What exactly took a toll on Bowe to say he was already past it? As far as I am concerned, Andrew Golota showed on those 2 nights how great he actually was. Unfortunately Golota turned out to be a mentalcase! Physically, he was superior to Riddick Bowe in every department. There would be no difference between 1992 and 1996!

    HELLO CAPTAIN OBVIOUS:hi:

Amazing that just 8 months before the first fight he KO'd Holy in 8.

In between that fight and the Golota fight he lost his prime:lol:

Bowe blatantly ducked the best fighter around so that says alot about his legacy as a HW champ.

He was not the same fighter, Bowe was 235 when he first fought Holyfield in 92, he was like 253 when he fought Golota the first time, he was not in the best shape. If you watch the bowe/Golota fight, it was very competitive, with both men rocking and knocking down each other. Golota fouled because he didnt want to continue fighting for whatever reason, he was frustrated that he hit Bowe with everything he had and refused to be knocked out. Bowe 92 would of beat Golota down badly, Golota is weak mentally and has a shakey chin as well, it would only be a matter of time before Bowe caught him with an overhand right or an uppercut on the inside.

Did he also somehow lose his power from 92 in 96?

Golota did get hit with tons of bombs from Bowe and it didnt help.

You are clearly knew to the game of Boxing.Try watching fights instead of looking up **** on Boxrec.

Im sure I know more than you, you provide no evidence to support your claim. Judging by your user name, Im guessing your a huge Golota fan, so it will be damn near impossible to convince you that Bowe would of beat Golota prime for prime. Golota lost both fights because he couldnt beat Bowe without fouling, you obviously never stepped in the ring and felt what it was like to get hit in the balls, and how much it takes out of you during a fight. Golota was beating Grant the whole fight back in 1999, on his way to victory until he gave up because he had to deal with a little adversity, so instead of getting up and fighting on, he chose to quit, he never had the heart to beat a fighter like Bowe.

. Bowe never ****in knew how to throw a good straight right hand. Everything was looped & would usually catch people behind the head. Very amateurish.

And Eddie Cotton NEVER said **** about the rabbit punches Golota got hit with. All he was looking for was low blows.
