Becauae he just said that? What happened when they were together?? # G said ready, Ward was in court and nursing a shoulder injury still. And when Ward came to make an 'offer' 3G was signed to fight David Lemieux already. Not to mention, when Ward returned, he was at Lt HW saying he could not make 168 anymore. If you can't follow how inconsistent Ward was, there's no help for you.

The Kovalev that Canelo beat gets destroyed by Golovkin. The Kovalev from the 1st Ward fight give Golokin hell. Plant, BJS and Smith get beat fairly easy by Golovkin.

 

Ward was inactive in 2014 with the lawsuit/shoulder injury...

In April 2015 Ward announced that he would make a ring return after a 19 month long lay off.

He came back as a LtHW. Stating he could not make 168...
