That and tying Hopkins middleweight title defense record as well as becoming a middleweight KO legend. So they robbed Golovkin of his Canelo wins but they can't robb him of that. The biggest part of making Canelo a legend is him battling with GGG for 36 rounds. No other fighter can say this.

I'm one the wasn't really impressed with the can crushing, Hopkins beat some hall of famers for his and then had quality years and wins after his middleweight run. I don't feel like he was robbed vs Canelo either, I feel you could have given him the 1st fight but Canelo still would have won the trilogy 2-1. And nah Canelo had a name long before Gennady, that's why he was following him like a hungry street dog for the fight against him. That said Golovkin was great, but realistically he failed the only test of his career.

Prime GGG could take BOTH Charlo's same time. Really GGG should be legitimately undefeated because Canelo robbed him blind twice & I'm sure he just coasted in Fight 3 . Best part is he got 3 good paydays & the boxing community know who really is the better fighter by far
GGG giving Canelo the beating he deserved :headbash:ggg

If Canelo needed a ko to win like Gennady did, then Canelo would have failed, but he didn't, all he needed to do was lose 9-3 vs Gennady to get the win. 2nd fight was closer, Canelo needed Golovkin to be who he is today. Canelo proved himself to be great, but not as great as Golovkin, otherwise he would have won without corruption.
