I typed that after your first comment. Thanks for your apology. If we all agreed this site would be boring. I hope none of my comments have offended you.
:good It's all good sir. I've done the same posting before reading the previous comment thing too. Anyway, I agree, it does make things interesting. Basically all I was going for with this thread was just entertainment, and maybe a simple analysis or two. I know that neither of these fighters are hot news or meaningful in the overall heavyweight picture, but I was bored, and thought about these two large outstanding amatuers that never did anything at pro, and thought that I would post a poll on them for shits and giggles. No harm done then?
I am not sure that this will generate any more interest than it did 2 and a half years ago..... I would think that Gonzalez would spark him out around 4 or 5
In the end Gonzalez was at least as bad as Harrison.... But for a while he actually had some people going (me included) at least he excited some people and looked legit in blowing out or dominating against solid journeyman on the way up, something Harrison never managed to do... Idl lean towards Gonzalez mid rounds Tko.. I dont beileive he was ever good enough to be a legit contender, but i do think he was dangerous and at least a good gatekeeper or top 10 to 15 guy at his best, but he really went down hill after losing to Bowe, even worst than Harrison is now.
I saw Gonzalez v Harrison in the title, and curiously thought; 'which Harrison is getting talked about in the classic?'. Audley in the classic!! Gonzalez is bad enough, but Audley! With all due respect you should have it in the general. Gonzalez by DQ.
Gonzalez by brutal early KO. Fraudley Harrison was never remotely good as a pro, he was just a big useless fraud, who feasted on disgustingly poor opposition.
