The word “ prime “ is highly subjective for these two guys given it was somewhat hard to gauge for both of them. I’m thinking 1983-84 for page and 1975-76 for Lyle. Who wins ?

Tough one. I think I like Page. I think he'd move a lot and throw quick jabs and combinations while Lyle tried to get set.

Page has a decent chance, but I say Lyle MD.

Lyle in a competitive bout. Page has his chance, however.

Lyle, I think he was beating ali handily, would do same to page but finish the job

Page at his absolute best would beat Lyle

The best versions of each boxer? Page would outbox Lyle. More talented, just as big, quicker. Most likely scenario perhaps Lyle in top shape, Page overweight. All bets are off

I think the Page of the Coetzee fight would stop Lyle.

Greg Page does not have anything to keep Ron Lyle from pummeling him. Page would box early, using his jab but Ron is an experienced heavyweight that has faced the likes of George Foreman, Jerry Quarry, Oscar Bonavena, Jimmy Young, and Muhammad Ali. Lyle by TKO 10.

The only one he won was against a Bonavena in decline and it was a competitive bought from all accounts.

Lyle's win column is very very thin.
