While I don't entirely agree with Burt, the question begs...what do you know of Freddie Steele to disagree so rudely? Im more apt to listen to a first hand account than I am a regurgitated opinion formed from a boxrec analysis.

What do you know about Steele, besides boxrec, to disagree with him? My first instinct is to also disagree, but than I think to myself, how much do I really know to just throw his opinion to the wayside? By reading your posts you should certainly be questioning yourself and not someone with so much proven knowledge.

 

And since when has Burt "proved" his knowledge? Since he's told you he's seen all those fighters? And you have no proof...?


I know what I know and I have enough knowledge of boxing's history to debate.

I just like trolling SO DAMN MUCH because of respones I get like the ones on this thread.

Regards to the middleweight division it's so hard to say. I mean people like greb, langford, fitzsimmons, charles, leonard, robinson, duran, de la hoya and some others i've forgotten about have all fought at the weight.

Basically i'm saying hagler is probably not one of the best 10 fighters to ever fight at the weight.

But as a middleweight i'm not sure many have achieved more than him. Robinson's success at the weight is mainly to consistently losing and rematching. Has there even been as dominant a middleweight as hagler? I'm sure someone here can tell me if there is.
