Prime Hatton vs. Prime Mayweather took place Dec. 7, 2007. Mayweather knocked Hatton out in the 10th round.
I been quiet lately,,,but how the **** do you think he was shot when he was undefeated going into that fight and was gassed that he beat a well past his prime castillo....this dude has always been an ok foreign fighter...do u think he wouldve beat prime kostya...hell no....he was a fraud from jump
I didnt think Hatton was Shot till i saw him fight Lazcano in the comeback after Floyd...ur trippin if u think hatton was shot.. Floyd knocks Hatton out in 10 again....HATTON WAS/NEVER WILL BE ON THE LEVEL OF FLOYD MAYWEATHER...Not tryin to take **** away from Ricky but u saw the fight
And the English people on ESB say we in America hype OUR fighters? You don't hear us singing "there's only one Jermain Taylor". That would just be annoying.
I see your the same guy who put Haye vs Tyson. Man you are ******ed! Hatton was in his prime and same as floyd and if they fought know Hatton would be out in 5. I only hit this thread to tell you what an idiot you are. I put up a good one earlier Delahoya vs Ayala and cant see why your thread has gotten more hit? Starting to wonder about ESB
Hatton was in his prime when he fought Mayweather. I am never amazed by the posts on this board. You expect Hatton to have gotten in the ring with Mayweather when he was 20 years old? LOL
Is this the 'prime' Hatton that initially turned down a fight with Mayweather because he wasn't ready!? Bet against Mayweather at your peril! There were several people on here betting on Marquez.
Granted theres always th possibility/minor miracle that it goes the distance. If it does its atleast 10 rounds to 2 Hatton. Look at what he did to Malginaggi.
If I had a penny for every time I heard the "if the Hatton that fought Tszyu" blah blah. Of course that Hatton beats every fighter in history according to some on ESB.
thats a good un... i have two views. the hatton that stopped kt in the men would of handled any man. straight. that was his night and i think the man was un fightable to coin a phrase on that night. the hatton who fought fmj was still a good fighter but just never had enough to get anywhere near the legend that is floyd. floyd is without a dought a highley superiour fighter but as the saying goes every dog has his day and imo i thin ricky would of walked thru any man that night. this comin from a mayweathers boxing skill fan.. roger said only skill and luck wins fights, but that is bull****. what about heart, adrenalin, courage, and the fear of losing? imo it would of been good to watch, and alot better than the fight that aventually happed
I agree Hatton did turn him down cus he wasnt ready, suddenly when Floyd was retired he grew some balls and called him out, only to get knocked out..... Whats worse however is that when Manny showed you how a true P4P champion should dispose of Hatton at his best weight and not a higher weight all the Floyd fans said Hatton was already washed up and shotatsch
