Prime Hatton would OWN today's LWW Division!

The problem is Hatton prime lasted for one fight and one fight only not for a year or two like most fighters.

 

I have respect for Hatton, but his best wins really were against washed up fighters like Tszyu and Castillo. Those 2 in their primes were absolute monsters at their respective weights and primes. Hatton lacked alot of defense and was very physical, would throw defense out the window, determined for his opponents to fight his fight only, which wasn't always the case. He'd struggle with boxers like Collazo.

Matthysse is all wrong for him.
If he could neutralize Danny's left hook like Lucas and Herrera did, he could win, but Hatton never a cerebral type of fighter. Always predictable with the same gameplan. That was his downfall.

 

Zoo was a bit washed up but the way he beat the fight out of him was impressive

Beating Tszyu was the best and worst thing that happened to him.

Big jump up in quality and then thought he could walk through everybody.

Then was completely shot after fighting Collazo.

 

Hatton is overrated as fvck.

This guy has proved NOTHING at the elite level. Beating two past prime names doesn't mean shlt.

Garcia stops him, Lucas stops him, Provodnikov kills him. Khan would beat him, even Herrera would beat him.

Hatton had THE WORST BOXING IQ of a guy who fought at the top level. He is endlessly overrated by his blind brittard fans.

 

Hatton's boxing skills is best described as Hugton. He is overrated IMO! the dude's skill-level is **** poor.It may allow him to maul and suffocate old veterans boxers who have no legs. I speak of Tszyu and Castillo but these new cats in the game, Garcia, Mathysse and Thurman.Ricky Hugton gets put to sleep and I am confident about that.

He hugged the **** out of a past his prime Kosta with the blessing of a corrupt British referee. Dude had no skill what so ever. His fame is built on two past their prime fighters and providing highlight reels for Pac and Mayweather. With that poor defense of his, Hatton won't see the 5th round against Matthysse. Stylistically I also think Shawn Porter would have stopped Hatton.
Hatton is one of the most overrated fighter of the last decade.

 

What skill does Hatton have besides clinching? Who did he beat besides a past his prime Castellio?

 

He would beat them all, even PAC without his Vitamin supplements, of course.
