Depends which Joshua shows up. Joshua over confident could walk into a counter and get KO'ed, Haye has serious power but Joshua fully focused and using his height and reach keeps Haye on the outside and wins a decision. Haye sucked at pressing or trying to cut off the ring, the Wlad fight proves that, he's far more effective when an opponent comes to him and allows him to counter, hence why even Bellew beat him.
Joshua with ease. I think people are forgetting that Haye is a guy who was stopped by a super-middle, and not even a very good one. Yes, he improved, but the chinny-chin chin was just not heavyweight quality. I respect the guy, and he maximized what he had and had a decent run, but AJ was a legit heavyweight champ when Fury was out.
Haye isn’t and never was on the level of Usyk in both skill or chin. David gets stopped by Joshua mid to late rounds depending on how he fought. He’d have his moments here and there though. Only reason why Haye lasted against Wlad was because Wlad was a bit too cautious in that fight. Pre-steward Wlad would have destroyed him before the 7th round.
Haye is super slippery and the bodybuilder too stiff and robotic to overcome Haye's hit and run tactics. Good chance Haye lands a clean one on Joshua late and has him on a set of quivering jelly legs.
He knocked out (not RTD ala Fury) a prime Chisora and knocked out two cw belt holders Mormeck who'd beat long-time champ O'Neil Bell (wba and wbc) and Enzo Mac who held the WBO for several defences. Now you GO sonny.
