Prime Heavyweight Champion who would be LEAST effective in a street fight?

    Well, shooting comes under the category "street fight". That's the real world.

    And, yeah, it's pointless.

    Based on what I have seen of boxer on civilian encounters a 200lb+ man with no profesional background in combat sports would not have a cat in hells chance against Tommy Burns or any other world class fighter.

    I wouldn't give any guy much of a chance against Burns, but we're talking relative to other HW champions.

    Not against the average joe he wasn't, but against other heavyweight champions in their prime, I don't think he fares too well.

    Perhaps not a bad call.

    It is fairly reliably documented that Young Griffo knocked Corbett out in a bar fight.

    When boxers get in fights outside of the ring they usually just grab the guy and fall to the floor... or drop kick them, of course.

    Foreman was a street fighter from the Houston 5th ward.

    Sonny Liston was a Mob enforcer that took on multiple cops.....and threw one head first into trash can.

    Don't know too much about Bowe.
