Michael Moorer was an extremely violent man outside of the ring in his younger days.

Well Corbett made the mistake of playing with him...caught his punch in one hand and then started ***** smacking him with the other. Griffo dropped to the floor and as he went he kicked Corbett in the head knocking him out.

One of the guys picked Chris Byrd...and that might be a fair pic.

Yea I knew someone who knew him growing up...and he was violent..but that was againt joe blows...would you have been as pyschotic aganst. Jack dempsey who was also a world class submission wrestler who bare fisted could kill with one shot (which just about all the champs could...).

Seriously tho, do you call two over crowded pathetic excuses for a fight a good barometer? A real fight is where two men go at it unobstructed without 5 people hanging off each. I'm dubious as to the seriousness of at least one of them.

Not necesarilly he can just mean he has a helluva alot of experience. I know quite a few good streetfighters that werent so good at the beginning but became pretty kick ass dudes as time went on:yep

Lewis did get thrown by Williams in sparring...but Williams was also a black belt in judo (something Jack Dempsey was as well...though he didn't get his belt till later). A advantage all the old timers would have is they all wrestled..I know this is a boxing cite...but being good at wrestling can help...even if its just to make it harder for the other guy to take you down. Another thing about the Lewis Tyson press conference brawl is lewis was on top of Tyson at the time.
