If a boxer is ranked in the top 10 he is deserving. Champions need to stay busy and need opponents.

Actually Foreman did agree on a couple occasions to fight Hipp.

Forgot about Joe Hipp. Tough fighter. George busts him open. Hipp continues on thru the late rounds. He is simply not a match for big George. Hipp takes far too much punishment in this fight....

What are your thoughts on why Big George ducked him?

CW----that I do not know. Foreman was a big hit on the comeback trail. Everyone was pulling for this new likeable fighter. He certainly cherry picked his early foes. Mostly slow bloated fighters looking for a payday. Later on he stepped it up. Was Hipp too risky? HE Gave a fight every time. At that stage you know Foreman was looking at cost -benefit analysis.... A loss to Holyfield or even Morrison was better than a close win against Hipp. That is the best I can do...... Thanks
