I have Holmes winning this one. For big guys they were both good boxers but I think Holmes uses his jab to set up his bigger punches. He eventually wears down the less-than-in-great shape Bowe especially if it is scheduled for 15 rounds.
Holmes was never a monster puncher, but he would land plenty enough of the jab and overhand to lump up and decision Bowe. Larry also would have been expertly tying him up whenever the latter tried getting on the inside. I can definitely see Bowe knocking the sweat off Larry's head a few times though, giving a really good fight.
After reading the thread title, I've come to imagine a "Holme" as a disposable, single-serving version of Holmes. Able to be used only once, like a ketchup packet, a "Holme" is only a fraction of the potency you'd expect from a complete 48-pack of Holmes. (They tend to spoil if you try to bundle them in groups of 49 or more.)
I wouldn't say spoil. They've got a best before not a "Use by" Holme have a very long shelf life past 49.
I go along with this. Bowe dangerous early on giving Holmes problems with his inside work but Larry keeping him at bay most of the time with his jab. Come the second half of the bout, the Easton Assassin capitalises on Riddick's leaky defence and the referee steps in to rescue him around the eleventh or twelfth.
