Prime Holmes vs Max Baer and Cleveland Williams

Willaims is getting knocked out by round 6
Max Baer if he was serious about beating Holmes, would be very competitive, he's basically Earnie shavers with a iron chin and 15 round stamina

Holmes is a genius boxer, and would realize he's not going to be able to knock baer out and would go for a points victory keeping on guard the whole time for that murderous overhand right

Baer would realize his only hope is mauling Holmes with a murderous overhand right, if he lands it on on the chin Holmes is hitting the canvas, but since its holmes hes getting back up, but if Baers right hand keeps finding it's mark baer might win it.
Would look alot like the rocky one fight

 

It would actually be an unfair fight, 2 against 1.

If Holmes did fight both I would probably go with Baer and Williams , Holmes would probably hold his own until he realized he shouldn't have signed up for this one. Cant really see this ending good for Larry.

I could see Max blind siding Holmes while Williams pummels him from the front.

 

Holmes should be a very strong favorite over Big Cat. Because of his reach and speed, Big Cat will certainly catch and possibly rock Holmes a few times, but wont be able to finish him. Holmes was more vulnerable to right hands than left hooks anyway. I think Holmes piles on points, takes over, and puts a hurt on Big Cat late, earning a stoppage.

Holmes should be a solid favorite over Baer. The match has some intrigue cause of Baer's right hand, late power, and his excellent finishing ability. I think its very possible Holmes gets dropped and finds himself in bad hairy situations. That said, i cant see Baer stopping Holmes, and I would favor Holmes to get a hard earned decision with most of the action dominated by his jab and combos.

 

Why do we talk about Cleveland Williams so much around here? He's gotta be like the number three most talked about fighter on here. It's incredible.

 

Holmes should be a heavy favourite in both fights.

Holmes I believe defeats both. William s would be stopped before the sixth, whilst maxy gives Larry a decent fight, before being stopped in the 13 th.
