His resume says otherwise you yourself in your post tells of holmes mistakes he tightened up on,age does not win fights ,skill does.Holyfield is an example of that he became better defensively in the late 90's himself.

Yup I did, larry didn't dance much in that fight but he had a game plan which he stuck too while mercer was exposed for being one dimensional and not being able to switch to another strategy when plan A wasn't working.

 

Not sure how one dimensional mercer is he arguably beat lewis,maybe?And won half the rounds against Holyfield as well.Holmes also fought with one eye ,he dmaged it before the fight 2 weeks prior.
