Vitali by knockout, no doubt about that one.

This would have been an excellent match-up, style-wise.

Of many of the "ATG" possible contests vs Vitali, this would have been one I would have liked to have seen.

This would have to be a 15 rounder. I have holmes by decision and vitali cut up and bleeding.

Vitali only got hit a few times against Arreola and he cut. Holmes has much better hand speed and good reach. I predict a bloody mess.

decision lol. Holmes by murder. Holmes too fast, too strong, too heavy-handed. TKO in 6.

    Reach:

    Holmes -- 81"
    Vitali ---- 80"

And Holmes was always in great shape and could take a punch (only TKO'd once in 75 fights, when he was old [38] and fought Tyson).

I would take VK by decision but would not be surprised to see Holmes win a decision with speed, guile and ring generalship. Would have been an excellent fight.

A great fight. Vitali would start well but Holmes would gradually edge it and win a close decision over 15 rounds. Holmes could also stop Vitali on injury / cuts.

I notice that every time you make a post they are one liners with nothing to back up the nonsense you spit out.:-(

I was comparing Holmes to Arreola, I was not clear on that in terms of reach, my mistake in my post. Vitali always has a reach advantage over his opponents. Holmes would have faster hands and Vitali would not be able to fight with his hands at his sides. His style does not suit fighting a Larry Holmes.

I Take Vitaly in a decision.

Holmes is one of only a small handful that could hope to beat Vitaly though. But I think Vitaly wins a close fight.
