I don't see why. Holmes is mainly known for his jab, and I think that's being pretty generous to him, because in all truth Ali had a much better jab, and plenty of fighters had excellent jabs. The era Holmes reigned over was just as sad as this one. I don't have a strong opinion either way on this fight, I think they're pretty similar as far as their overall historical ranking and talent, but I would give the edge to Vitali on his power. Holmes was a straight up one two fighter, he's not Tyson who'd get inside and just wreak havoc.
I picked Vitali, I was going to say by ko, but Holmes was tough, had a lot of will power, and knew how to suvive when hurt. Cooney fight jumped Holmes into greatness category, unjustly IMO cause Cooney was not that good, it was more of a magnitude of fight thing witht hat bout. For people who say Holmes by decision, I won't argue, it would have been competive fight.
I like vitali but I'm afraid Holmes would cut him up with that jab. Holmes would wins on cuts in the 10th round. The Klitschkos just have paper skin like most white people. Whites people bones stick out above there eyes. That is why they cut so easy.
10000 posts and you still know so little about boxing that you think V. Klitschko = Michael Bentt? and you put smileys on it like everyone ELSE is stupid??? atsch
