Nah, Usyk is better in everything. And this is coming from a massive fan of The Real Deal. One of my absolute favourite moments in boxing history was the first Tyson fight. But still, Usyk is just better. Even the great man himself hinted at this.
No need for name calling, mate. We are here to discuss differing views and Adam here is one of the most sensible guys around. Throw arguments in his way not insults.
Still, leave the name calling to high school kids, mate. I'm with you on Usyk being better than Holyfield in every possible way. But let's just discuss things as adults.
Alright man, but he's been non-stop hating and dismissing Usyk since his big win. It's all very laughable what he's saying, everyone knows how great Usyk is.
The Holyfield of the 2nd Bowe fight beats Fury by UD Holyfield in this fight had good movement, firing off fast accurate combinations, Fury wouldn't be able to cope with that for 12 rounds and would fade down the stretch. Fury has only 2 fought smaller skilled Heavyweights and he struggled immensely in both fights vs Usyk, Cunningham. So it seems like the smaller skilled Heavyweights give Fury more problems than some of these lumbering giants.
Depends. Fury that beat Wlad would beat Evander. Fury that drew and beat Wilder II and III, hell Fury that beat Wallin and Whyte would lose to Evander. I think that absolute peak Fury would have an advantage over peak Evander. Evander as good as he was always had some issues with the largest guys. Even though I think Evander beats Usyk, I think Usyk's style translates better into beating SHW's with less issues. Evander is too rugged of a fighter once you get to rounds 7-12. He takes shots he shouldn't and tries to run over guys twice his size instead of just "boxing" intelligently.
Better? He’s not…Usyk is better technically as a fighter…faster…better chin…better stamina…higher ring IQ…better overall boxing resume… Only thing Holyfield did better was take many steroids…Which puts a question mark on his entire career…
I mean, Evander has the physical attributes to deal with The Gypsy King. Very tough, good puncher, stamina isn't incredible but Evander could still pull off short bursts of offence even into the later rounds so that counts for something, fast for his size... Still, to think Holyfield is anywhere near Fury's level of ability in scientific terms is a thought I don't take seriously. Even against Usyk, Fury had much success coming forward and was outwitting him the first several rounds then all of a sudden he opts to box on the backfoot for the remainder of the fight. He had spots here and there where he would come forward, land, admire his work then go back to giving Usyk the advantage which was strange, to say the least. A bit sketchy, at best. Evander was a great boxer but at Fury's level? I don't think so. Anything The Real Deal can do Fury does significantly better. Head movement, combinations, footwork, feinting, boxing from all three ranges and most importantly; distance control. Fury would bruise and swell Holyfield's face before he would have a chance of knocking down Fury. He did box well against taller men in his prime (would he have done the same to Lewis had they fought sooner?), however there is no guarantee he would knock out Fury as Tyson has come back from borderline unconsciousness against Wilder and almost no chance he outclasses him. I say Fury beats him 10-5 rounds in a 15-rounder.
I think Tyson is easy work for Evander. If you're looking for the most one sided upside-down weight beatdown that'd be Dempsey, imo. Spinks makes Fury look silly. Moore KOs him. Charles also KOs him. But Jack Dempsey make Tyson Fury his b***h IMO
bhaha you think a 200 pound 6'1" midget from the 20's can compete with Fury. Same applies to Charles. Fury walks Moorer.
I think Fury wouldn't even be in a conversation in the 90s tbh. Spinks his daddy, all night, everyday.
