I wouldn't rule Fury out of this if he's 100% but even if he beats Evander he loses the rematches as he is just too inconsistent. Fury in the 90's era would struggle, good enough to win a belt, maybe even beat Evander like Bowe did for all the belts but he doesn't keep them for long due to his lack of consistency. He'd have more losses and might not get the same opportunities in a stacked era.

Yes i would agree with this. Fury when motivated has a chance. I actually think the early 90's suit him better than the late 90's. He would need to avoid pre prison Mike Tyson who would maul him. But Fury beats post Tokyo Douglas, probably stops Morrison, decisions Mercer, obviously decisions old Holmes and old Foreman.

The pre Steward Lewis wasn't the same fighter the later version was. I think Fury stands a solid shot vs this version.

But Fury himself is too inconsistent to put a big run together.

Kinematic chains and basic 3rd grade physics, the theory of evolution still being a theory, and a deep understanding of the history of the sport?

Where do you get your bias from?

Yep especially with how many big punchers were around in the 90's. Fury isn't hard to hit as he switches off at times, he might even get Michael Moorer'ed by Foreman if he isn't careful. If Usyk can have him almost out, Foreman could put him to sleep if he lands. That inconsistency would be too much of a liability in such a deep era.
