Whichever versions you think were the best. I would favor Evander of course but this might be entertaining

Think Holyfield beats him to the punch more often. Holyfield’s speed stamina n chin carry him through this. Love this fight though

Oh please a prime Holyfield would run over Povetkin.
Are you kidding me with this? Beat Bowe,Tyson, and Douglas.
Now name the 3 top heavyweights beaten by Pov.

Holyfield win s in an entertaining fight. Even tho Holyfield is levels above it doesn't look it here.
Holyfield quiet possibly stops him late, but one of those fights where he looks bad doing it.

    I would pick Povetkin.

If Holy was disciplined and fought the right fight, he would win.

But his come forward shoot-out style is a big bonus for Pov.

Essentially how I feel. Brawling in the pocket is Povetkin's bread and butter. And Holyfield could rarely resist a tear up. I feel Povetkin has the edge in this situation. Holyfield - when he bothers to - is the better outboxer and if he keeps it at range his chances go up. He had a tricky little rythmn going and a good sense of timing. But you just know that sooner or later Povetkin is going to do one of his quick rushes forward and clout Holy with something that pisses him off. And from there on the fans win, but Holy probably won't.

Bowe is the best one on that list and a big part of the reason he is well regarded is BECAUSE he beat Holyfield. Povetkin's ledger lacks a Bowe-type win but he is far more consistent an operator. He's not going to be losing to frickin Ruiz and friends. Frankly him punching Whyte's ticket when he himself was geriatric for a boxer is better than beating "tubby" Douglas or faded Tyson.

I think Holyfield (at the point that he still had hair) would stop Povetkin

I had never seen Povetkin fight until the Takam fight (great fight), then I saw him vs. Perez, and Duhaupas. Impressive run against some tough opposition. I've seen about every Holyfield fight and these are two of my favorite heavyweights to watch. I like them because they have excellent fundamentals, and technique. An inside fight between them would be like watching a "how to in-fight tutorial." I don't know who would win, they are two fighters who at their best, I wouldn't want to bet against regardless of who they fought.
