Wlad is not going to be throwing "repeated right hands and left hooks" on a moving target that is willing to punch back. This is not your Pulev-esque chin in the air, feet in cement type of guy. He couldn't do squat to Jennings, you think he's going to be confident enough to blast it out against Holyfield and risk getting countered??

 

evander outhustles wlad. wlad will try, but his palette is too limited. evander knows how to beat those physical advanatges that wlad has come to reply on way too much.

 

Bowe was willing to go to war with Holyfield which is how he won the first fight. And even then it was a close fight. If Wlad dared to go to war with Evander - he gets KTFO.

 

Exactly, people are funny. To put Brewster in same sentence with Evander is awfully disrespectful to Holyfield.

If Wlad is defending champion he will win ugly Ud.
If Holy is champion it will be close fight but I would still put my money on Wlad

 

The numbers Holyfield has against superheavies certainly don't reflect the true state of affairs.

Bowe I - Was unable to adapt to Bowe's exceptional inside fighting and couldn't fight from the outside. Legitimate loss.

Bowe II - Came into the fight with a proper strategy and won. Legitmate victory.

Bowe III - Was winning until he ran out of gas due to hepatitis.

Lewis I - Old and wrecked from health issues and several wars. Still put up somewhat of a good effort but lost a wide UD.

Lewis II - Same as above, except this time he put up quite a good fight. Some argued it could be a draw, but I wouldn't go that far. 7-5 for Lewis.

Not nearly as underwhelming when you ****yze it objectively.

You need to watch that again. Wlad ran and held on for his life. He would have been stopped if Peter had the just stamina and endurance of Holy- never mind Holys skills and intelligence. Lederman called for Wlad to be DQ'd

Nobody struggling with Peter like that is beating Holyfield.

Chambers had far less trouble with Peter than Wlad and was half his size. I guess he beats Holyfield too?:roll:
