Holyfield stops Wlad imo, Bowe & Lewis could fight inside, Wlad can't, and we are talking a prime Holyfield here not the Holyfield that Lewis fought.

Yeah....Old , battleworn Toney handled Peter better than supposed ATG HW Wlad, and did it with none of his physical advantages. Imagine that.

Holy had trouble with super heavies with skills, and we know should be 1-4 vs Lewis and Bowe. The draw vs Lewis was BS. Wlad likely wins here.

It would look similar to Holyfield vs Lewis fight. Stylistically the big and very skilled boxers are too much for Holyfield. Evander would have very hard time trying to land on Wladimir effectively. I see Wlad wearing him down and knocking him out during the late rounds.

He would keep him away with the jab, just like he fights against any other opponent. If he is allowed to grab and hug (which he is usually allowed to do) I don't see how would Holyfield possibly hurt him. Yes he is a great inside fighter but Wlad is out of his reach, plus he is too big and has skills to outbox him without having been hit by a hard punch. Holyfield has a great heart and doesn't give up (remember Bowe I fight) but I don't see him getting inside Wlad. Just remember his fight with Lennox Lewis, big and skilled boxers are hard fights for Holyfield. I do see Wlad wearing Holyfield down because unlike David Haye, Holyfield doesn't run away, but actually comes to fight and he spend his energy. I genuinely believe that it would be extremely hard for any relatively small fighter to defeat Wladimir Klitschko because of the clever way he currently uses his size and the skills he has for such a big guy. That's what I think.

The Haye/Wlad fight is up on youtube. What round does Haye run away from Wlad?

1-Wlad isn't Lennox Lewis. He's a limited 1-2 puncher who can't fight on the inside, has a weak chin and poor stamina. 2- That was not a prime version of Holyfield...Why dont we pit Holyfield against the Purrity version of Wlad if you're chosing Holy past prime.

If anybody ran in that fight , it was Wlad from Haye, everytime Haye came forward.

Wlad by TKO. Holyfield will not run and try to survive and will be beaten into a bloody pulp.

If he ran away every round he would of been DQ'd. Either way you cant analyze a fight for **** because Haye fought off the ropes for the entire fight. Somebody who doesn't know what running is has no business on a boxing forum.

Wow, 79-79 and 1 draw... almost 40% picking Holyfield by stoppage.

    Holyfield fought big men well.

After going 28-0 (22) overall, 10-0 (7) in World Title Fights at CW and HW, 5-0 (2) vs. Hall of Famers a 30 year old Holyfield lost a close decision to Riddick Bowe (at his very best) in their first fight.

He used to make Bowe quit in sparring sessions and took Bowe lightly. Still, Bowe got away with countless low blows and never lost a point. The knockdown was also B.S.

In the rematch Holyfield fought a smarter fight and outboxed Bowe. I really think he would have eventually stopped Bowe had "Fan Man" not killed his momentum. Sure, maybe Bowe was a little better in their first fight but I don't think it would have mattered. Holyfield was well prepared this night.

In their 3rd fight Holyfield looked washed up. He showed a lot of heart and brawled well but he did not fight a smart fight and was not well prepared. He looked very tired even when he shouldn't have been. He did drop Bowe and almost had him out in the 6th... Holyfield could not stop him even though the round was only half over... something wasn't right with Holyfield. Bowe stopped him in the 8th.

Holyfield drew with Hall of Famer Lennox Lewis in their first fight but most felt Lewis won. Holyfield was almost 37 and well past prime. He thought he was gonna stop Lewis in the 3rd round for some reason and did not fight a smart fight.

In the rematch Holyfield fought much smarter and many felt he deserved the decision vs. a prime Lewis.

He was robbed vs. Valuev at age 137!

He decisioned older but still very good versions of Hall of Famer George Foreman and Hall of Famer Larry Holmes.

He stopped a very good version of Michael Dokes in the 10th round. He stopped Buster Douglas in the 3rd round.

He outboxed a much better version of Ray Mercer than Wladimir fought. Holyfield dropped Mercer and won a clear decision. Mercer's jab was not a big factor. In Mercer's next fight he lost a MD to Lennox Lewis. Mercer landed his jab very well vs. W. Klitschko before getting stopped in the 6th round, Mercer was 41. Wladimir has improved since this fight.

Sure, Wladimir has about 3 1/2" in height, and 3 1/2" in reach. He'd also be about 25-30 Lbs. heavier. Holyfield has dealt with this before. A prime Holyfield has quick hands, quick feet, he is strong, durable, well conditioned, and very accurate. He has enough power to hurt anybody even if he might not finish them.

I'll take Holyfield by decision in a tough fight.

    Wlad on points.

Holyfield had problems with skilled big men- if Bowe had a little better ring IQ, he could've swept the trilogy instead of just winning 2/3. Holyfield's better against brawlers and sluggers.
