Toney from the Holyfield fight vs a prime Ruddock. Does Toney embarrass Razor with his speed and old school defense? Can Toney withstand the power of Ruddock? Would Ruddock be able to land his power punch Smash?

I think a prime Ruddock would have won.

I see Toney winning on points and making Ruddock look very ordinary, the way he loaded up on the smash would do him no favours at all.

As above but toney survives a few rocky moments. Razor was mostly no easy touch..

Toney's best weight was 160-168. He'd be giving away 70 pounds.

The extra weight just made him slower and reduced his flexibility which he relied upon to avoid big shots in the pocket.

    Ruddock is just too big.

I dont care how good Toneys chin is/was, Ruddocks punch power was on a whole different level.

(Expect a Ruddock vs Sam Peter thread soon).

That power punch was telegraphed from Mars..... if Jaco could take that power than I'm sure Toney could.

Ruddock might actually get the stoppage here. Massive puncher with underrated skills in his prime. Ruddock KO is my prediction. I know Toney's never been stopped, but he never stepped in with Ruddock either!

James is a great fighter but was not a true heavyweight. I favour Ruddock

Ruddock was a pretty good fighter when he still had his jab. But then in later fights he went smash crazy.

Sam Peter managed to outsmart Toney in the rematch despite having the intelligence of a carrot. Ruddock could win by jabbing and not engaging.

If Ruddock decides to fight Toney like Booker did, he would lose.
