But he was on medication, prescribed ones because of his documented mental issues, which can happen to anyone, and can be serious if not treated. I do not know if it is fact, but it was rumored before his prime fights that his handlers would remove his meds from him to gain an edge, an excuse they would use is that these medications would show up in a mandatory urine test, prior to his scheduled bout. Psych meds mellow a person, I used to be employed on a Psych unit before I retired. I do have a degree in Psychology.

Ernie could last, but Mike beats him comfortably, Tyson hits too hard.

Yeah styles make fights 100% right? Tyson could NEVER beat Liston now could he!? So now Liston has the style to beat someone bigger, faster and just as strong as him now? Like, when has Liston ever fought someone like Tyson? And when he did, he quit, ahem, twice. Patterson couldn't hit water if he fell into a bathtub against Liston. So that means Tyson couldn't? Same old typical hater.

Quit comparing Tyson to Patterson. We all know but you and the Tyson Hate Brigade that those comparisons are null and void. Tyson beat styles similar to Liston, does that means he destroys Liston within 5 rounds?

The only people agreeing with you have a fixation for Tyson hatin. The rest of us know better.

On the same night, Tyson makes Liston quit in 4. Immediately after Liston quits, Tyson takes on Clay, where Dundee reaches for smelling salts to revive Clay in the third. Then Dundee tries to rip the glove of Ali (who turned Muslim from the smelling salts) while Rooney runs across the ring to drop kick Dundee over the top rope. Tyson is declared the winner by TKO 4 Liston & TKO 4 Clay/Ali and Rooney acknowledges Larry Holmes for the WWF finishing maneuver. Not so far off in the distance is Cus D'Amato's force ghost, smiling and telling the other force ghosts that he knew his boy could do it!

Stay tuned for the sequel where George Foreman makes his way out of the dressing room, naked.

I don't see Mike getting blown away by Sonny, but I do see him at least getting knocked down. In the end one of them might quit. Tough to pick, but either Mike in four or Sonny anything past that.

I think Bowe would be somewhat be similar against Mike, because of the jab and uppercut... but Bowe had a lion's heart. Bowe would get dropped but Mike would be really lame by round six, ref stops it in eight. This is prime for prime of course.

More appropriately try to stay out of my replies to Unforgiven. I thought you were an alt from his side of the pond. If you aren't, I apologize.

Too much gets made out of Liston quitting. He was a puppet for the mob and to this day many boxers still are. In the red corner, then in the blue corner...those are the colors on the Rothschild coat of arms. I could get deep but this isn't the place for it.

I also think Bowe would be the ultimate foil for Mike Tyson. He's big, strong, has a tremendous inside game, excellent chin and can brawl and box with anyone in history. I don't think it's a good idea to trade with Mike the way he traded with Evander though. However, it's inevitable.

A prime Tyson-Bowe battle may be the greatest fantasy heavyweight fight of all time. So is Louis-Liston, Holmes-Foreman, Dempsey-Johnson and Frazier-Marciano. Many more that follows.
