Unless Jackson could land a lucky shot, Toney would take him. It would say round 7 or 8, Jackson folds into a TKO or maybe even a KO. Toney had good power at 160. I wish he actually stayed in shape.
yea, and plus Toney was bigger than Jackson (or fatter) as he started his career at 160, and Jackson peaked at 160, and Toney has an ATG chin :deal
Toney. Bigger, better, sturdier fighter. Jackson wasn't prime in 1993, he was better at 154 before the eye injuries. Toney also was better at 168 than 160, although he did look very, very good against McCallum at 160 in the first fight.
Jackson was at his best at 154. Toney at his Middleweight best, circa McCallum I, was simply too much for someone like Jackson. Too defensively sound, too sharp a counter-puncher, too powerful, and too durable to lose to the Hawk, who, while a massive puncher, didn't have the best whiskers, nor the best defense.
