Prime James Tony vs prime Andre Ward

Toney rarely retaliated when guys would fight dirty. Ernest Mateen put an extremely blatant display of fouling, like he was trying to get DQ'd (he eventually did), and Toney just sort of shrugged it off and kept boxing.

 

At LHW I would favour Ward, but thats not a confident pick as I felt Ward lost the first Kovalev fight by being outboxed and felt Ward was losing the return and being outboxed before the fight was called off from a low blow in which there may have been more, but Toney didnt have a good LHW run.

At SMW its even tougher to call. Ward has not appeared interested in facing boxer movers and I think Toney may be a bit awkward for Ward at SMW. I really cant call it at SMW

Same story when Holyfield did his billy goat routine, Toney is made too tough, he doesn't even react to it and goes about his business of systematically breaking Evander down. The man is a legend.
