If we are talking Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, or Timothy Dalton Bond then Bourne wins KO by round 3. Lazenby it is 50/50 with slight edge to Bourne due to Bourne's improvising abilities. Craig has a 60/40 edge due to his ability to take punishment (see torture scene in CR) and physically is stronger than Bourne. But Sean Connery Bond would absolutely crush Bourne. Remember this Bond was in his prime, he took out Red Grant (Robert Shaw) - in a brutal train car fight - Grant was like Tyson and Foreman mixed together. And remember Connery Bond also took out Oddjob, which would be the equivalent of Shane Mosley KOing George Foreman circa 1974. So we have to know which Bond we are talking about here.
Classic thread. I always considered Roger Moore the best Bond behind Connery, although maybe not so much in terms of "fighting skills". Timothy Dultan's the Bond who only did the 1 movie, before passing it off to Brosnan, right? He sucked, that's for sure, and so did Brosnan althogh I don't think he was as bad as people make him out to be. Lazenby? Which Bond was he (need to get myself back up to date)? Either way, being PRIME for PRIME, I got Bond in a 7-5 type decision where a lot of Bourne supporters shout ROBBERY.
I've never seen a Bourne movie. Or an episode of ***** Eye. Or the Rolling Stones in concert. Is something wrong with me?
The Lazenby Bond is On Her Majesty's Secret Service - which to me is the best Bond film after From Russia with Love, Goldfinger would be 3rd best. OHMSS also has John Barry's best film score for the Bond series. Underrated film. The skiing on one ski sequence is still great to this day.
Anyone who stands up to Bond and is not afraid to fight back will win. No seriously, Bond gets a hotly contested decision.
Bourne's a lot like Hatton with all his sneaky grabs and holds but Bond takes this by frying his willy with his laser watch.
Bourne doesnt have the balance or balls to surf a 500 foot tidal wave like Bond so I think Bourne would lean too far over losing balance and get starched by bonds left upper.
