  1. What number do you make Groves?

The winner of him versus Murray will crack past 10.

I'd pick prime Left Hook over most of the guys currently active in the division.

Smith I haven't seen enough of at World Level so who knows and I'm still yet to see any of Ramirez so wouldn't be able to make an informed decision on either. Degale is a toss up. If he allows himself to be teed off on then Jeff would hurt him. I'm confident he had the power to deck anyone at the weight. You'd also have to factor in that James only seems willing to fight for a maximum of six rounds.

The more I think about it the more attractive Lacy vs. Bute sounds, could be a really fun match-up aesthetically.

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed that circumstances worked out that we didn't get to see that. Both would've been in the mix and wearing belts around the same time if one hadn't been derailed en route. We could've seen a pretty epic unification. Could easily imagine swapping knockdowns, etc., dramatic finish..

So you mean Groves will crack past 10?:D

  7. I think he'd beat them all tbh, DeGale if he is at is best would give him a good fight, and Smith with a year or so more experience of having a couple of world class fighters who don't get stopped in the first would be a handful.

How does he beat GRS? I feel like the Mexican's chin is too good to be done in by a single left hook (even though it was quite a blast, since underrated as his name has gone into the shitter due to one embarrassing night) and Lacy is certainly not going to outwork the super-sized Leo Santa Cruz. :think

But Floyd said the sport of boxing evolves, and fighters continue to get better. Therefore, Lacy would be a journeyman and wouldn't get anywhere near the world level.

Yeah, he'd probably get spanked by a Vinny Feigenbutz, huh?

Lacy was thought of as the goods when he was coming up.
Nobody expected him to get so outclassed by Calzaghe

They were doing a bit on him before one of his fights, think it was Vanderpool. Lacy was showing his belt rack with his 168 IBF belt, and there were two other empty spaces, Lacy pointed and those and said Middleweight Division, Supermiddleweight division, Lightheavyweight division.

Interesting. So he didn't want to unify in any one division, but wanted the IBF slice of the pie in three?
