I think this fight could go either way. I can see each fighter getting the stoppage but it will most likely end up as a very contested close decision for one or the other... ...Good fight!:good
Lacy. Lacy used to be quite explosive before the Calzaghe fight, and Froch's lack of defensive skills means that he's there to be hit. Would be similar to the Lacy/Reid fight imo.
If Froch beats Pascal, he'll be required to fight two mandatory challengers before he's allowed to choose his opponent. One of these mandatory challengers could be Jeff Lacy. He's still ranked highly with the WBC.
Froch should win, it might be a bit crazy to say this but Froch could stop him, he punches harder than taylor and calzaghe, but most likely the distance.
Pre-Calzaghe and pre-shoulder injury, when Lacy was still aggressive, he beats Froch, but it's a close fight. With his superior handspeed, he beats Froch to the punch all night, and if nothing else Lacy appears to have a solid chin. Presently, Froch dominates Lacy, who just doesn't seem to be able to pull the trigger anymore.
