Prime Jeff Lacy vs Ward and Froch.

Ward would win a wide UD. He could outbox him handily from the outside and mix it in with fighting up close with his rough and ugly tactics.

Froch would win a clear UD too, although not as one-sided as Ward would win. Froch's skills get underrated at times because of his weird awkward style. Froch judged distance and placed punches pretty well. It's not just speed, or being aesthetically pleasing, it's just about knowing how to fight. Froch did.

A couple of the biggest issues with Lacy was his defense and his wide, winging punches. Rubin Williams hit him consistently, Omar Sheika did consistently. When you throw those wide shots, you can get beaten to the punch by quicker, straight shots that don't travel as far due to the arc. Froch would get that right hand in, Ward would land lots of 1-2 combos on Lacy.

This must be Jeff Lacy himself, Lacy was solid, never that great. He lifted too many weights, which caused his cardio to be shyt, he was a 5 round fighter he had slow hands and no foot movement.

Froch stops him and Ward beats him up.

 

I know, lol. Funny that people called him mini Tyson when he had none of Tyson's hand speed or footwork.

 

nor his fitness, pre-prison Tyson was conditioned for 12 rounds.
