I am sure that there are paraplegics that you would pick over Jeffries, provided that your prediction could never be tested!
Actually we never saw this in the ring because when he did face a man over 200lbs [Johnson,] he was badly manhandled.Whereas we know Foreman bullied big heavyweights around!
Dude, I gave you 25 names and can list many more names. Like I said I can add much more. The fact that you don't know anything about some of the names I mentioned does not surprise me at all. If I bother to list 25 more names, what does it get me? You already have enough egg on your face. If you want 50, I can use the IBRO historians, 20+ of which have Jeffries in their top 15, plus numerous other authors and news paper men who bothered to list a ranking. Easy enough. Lucky for you I'm very busy these days... See ya, Tony!
Are you aware many modern boxing historians or media people consider Jeffries an ATG, 100+ years after he was a champion? Surely they all can't be gullible cornballs. Foreman lost to Tommy Morrison, looked bad vs Stewart ( I think he lost that fight ) looked bad vs Shultz, and was visibly rocked by Ken Lakusta, who was nothing but an average journeyman at best. Sure he caught a glassed jaw blown up light heavyweight, but he was easily losing that fight until Moore lined up for him. - Mendoza Oh, I did name 25 of them. Just as you asked. Feeling even smaller now? CHECKMATE again. By the way the Ring Magazine 2017 poll isn't full of historians, unless you think guys like Teddy Atlas qualifies! Even still he's top 15 there You do make me laugh.
I asked for 25 historians that name Jeffries as an all time great, you gave 25 names that list him in the top 15 not the same thing at all and 4 of those you named have no credentials that I can find Ive asked who they are but you haven't provided that information and you won't.
Um, when he was in his prime Jeffries blew out Munore in 2 rounds, he was 215 pounds. Jack Johnson took the same man past his prime and out of shape the distance. Jeffries also KO'd Ruhlin in 5 ( 200 pounds ), Jackson in 3 ( he says he was 200 pounds ), and Kennedy in 2 ( no weight was given ) but at Kennedy's weight did range over 200 pounds in his career, so he could have been 200 or more on that night. If your a top 15 talent 100 years after or in the hall of fame you are great. Even ring magazine's lame poll, which does not have historians lists Jeffries as an ATG. The poll before, in their top 50 heavyweights has Jeffries at #12, and its a much better issue as its all they talk about the fighters in detail.
Munroe [not MUNORE]!was a hyped nobody half his weight was in his belly and a*se as photos prove! This content is protected Jack Johnson toyed with Munroe who was described as not knowing how to even punch correctly! Yet he got a title fight instead of Johnson whom Jefffries refused to fight! Jeffries didnt ko Ruhlin stupid Ruhlin's corner retired him fully conscious between the 5th and sixth rounds, and he was heavily criticized for his lack of effort, Jeffries himself said he quit! Jackson was a 37 years old alcoholic and consumptive Tom Sharkey described the Jeffries fight as "shameful " and said Jackson was ,"a physical wreck". Jeffries called him," just a shell".Plus he was 195lbs for that fight. Kennedy was Jeffries sparring partner! he was described as being more than 30lbs above his usual fighting weight,he had no business being in the ring withJeffries and was in there as a 4 round warm up for the coming Ruhlin fight. https://cdnc.ucr.edu/cgi-bin/cdnc?a=d&d=SFC19010925.2.16.1 Many fighters in the HOF were not great, let alone all time greats! Your using these pathetic examples more than amply illustrates how desperately weak is your argument!
