I have said alot of times that Ward is the best fighter from 160-175
The only boxers i would give a shot against Ward is: Hopkins and Bute, but i would have Ward as a clear favorite..
But i recently throught.. What if Ward toke on a prime Taylor?
Taylor doesnt really have a SMW resume, but styles makes fights..
Taylor was a pretty active fighter and could be dangerous in the early rounds, many may disagree, but i would give Jermain a real shot against Ward (a prime Taylor of course).
    Who do you got?
I see Ward winning a very close fight..

Taylor will probably hurt Ward, win some rounds and then take some punishment. Ward UD.

Taylor UD. Ward has no power and Taylor fought and beat Hopkins twice who has the similar clinch-headbutt dirty style but pulls it off better.

Hopkins lost the fights because he was PAINFULLY inactive (you know being 40 and possibly weight drained). I don't think that would be a problem for Ward at this stage of his career.

Taylor would be willing to get rough in the early rounds and hit ward like he did Pavlik and Froch, I can see him going down in all honesty but with Taylor fading in the later rounds but enough points to win the fight.

Honestly stylistically Ward is Lucky he didnt have Taylor in the first round, Under rated fighter

Ward is a natural SMW. He's bigger, probably stronger over all, has a much more sound technique, infinitely better defense, and is a much better conditioned athlete. JT may take a few of the early rounds, but Ward dominates him otherwise. And I say that as a fan of JT. I'd be rooting for him, but he'd lose.

I dont know.. Ward probably have better stamina... But was Taylor's stamina really that bad when he was undisputed middle weight champ?
Taylor was definitely a harder hitter than Ward and was way more willing to engage, his combo punching was also nice..

i see ward as similar to hopkins a guy taylor beat twice

not sure if thats a good way to put it and styles make fights and blah blah blah

but to be honest ward still has some questions he hasnt had a war a tough fight or been down

taylor comes to bring it we know that

    interesting fight

Ward is Hopkins, but much faster. He's got deceptive speed, and the most underrated jab in boxing.
