Quarry gets right down to business and touches that middleweight chin of Morrison....I like Quarry by a stop between 1-6

 

Quarry SHOULD win this, and I would place my money on him, but not without a certain amount of discomfort. Morrison, for all his shortcummings, was ferocious early. He threw those fast ripping left hooks, which had a lot of sting behind them. If Quarry got tagged by too many of those early, he might end up bleeding before long. Tommy fell short against his better opponents, and even lost to some lesser ones as well, but to any honest boxing fan, he was a dangerous foe and one that Jerry could not afford to take lightly.

morrison had power but he had a great chin. magoo raised a good point about quarry being vulnerable to cuts but i don't see that happening. morrison would connect on him like mercer in the early going, and like mercer quarry wouldn't go away.

Quarry would land the firstest with the mostest and win on a 1 or 2 round tko. Jerry's beard was far superior to Tommy's, and he would take whatever Tommy got in, like he did vs Shavers in their brief encounter.

Quarry in five or six likely but if Tommy used his head and fought like he did against Foreman he may win a decision ..

 

Morrison isn't outpointing Jerry Quarry, a guy who boxed on even terms with Floyd Patterson.

 

morrison fought a grandfather foreman, he might not run from a prime foreman, quarry would kick his ass.
