Guzman UD, he is a slick "box and run" fighter with a granite chin.

Just from watching the HLs, Gamboa has faster and more compact punches so Guzman would have to fight on the outside.

joan guzman is too strong for gamboa plus right now they're worlds apart in weight.... i like guzman a lot he shouldve been a super star by now but is his own fault he isnt.. mofo started at 122 and now at 140 looks like that's been his weight all along

    :hat

    Two fantastic talents.

    Could really go either way.

Hope Gamboa doesnt waste his talents like Guzman did.

Guzman was a monster who could've handled anybody back then. He had the style and power to make Gamboa pay for his over-aggressiveness so Guzman either type of win would be my guess although sometimes speed kills skills, think Khan-Kotelnik's or Jones-Toney's, too much of a difference. Plus even though he's 30, we're yet to see the best professional Gamboa so I'm not sure about by pick, but there you have it: Guzman to win.

    Both are beasts.

Guzman at those lower weights had absolutely everything.
