you're giving froch way too much credit ..even though he deserves some credit from the taylor fight.

it's just not common sense comparing froch to calzaghe.

to be honest Joe was my favorite fighter up untill his retirement. he's now number 3 on my ALL time favorite list. just behind SRR and marciano.

man Joe was asomething special and even though the 168lb division is stacked it still missing him .

thing is all future 168lb champions will be unfairly compared to Joe "the Gosple" Calzaghe in the future.

look at 175 as soon as he retired any real super fight at that weight died. Dawson is even thinking of dropping weight just so he can get some meaningful fight.

Yeah he was great. Really miss him. Always came to fight.

Part of me wishes he'd come back for one last fight against Froch at the Millenium Stadium (in Wales). It would be MASSIVE over here, and a real easy fight for Joe. But his mind really seems to be made up, and good luck to him

    The Gosple lives on :good

Calzaghe would deconstruct Froch, he would give Froch a look that would imply a savage beating. He would make good on this promise with a thorough examination of Froch's body and head with his gloves. He'd give him a lollipop at the end, thank him for being a good boy and be on his way.

If Froch gets cute and hurts Calzaghe, Joe stops Froch.

    I don't see the fight going 12.

Joe wins by stoppage as Froch's corner throw in the towel to stop further punishment.

Froch is a tough, courageous fighter with a strong beard and good power but he would be badly outclassed by today's version ot Joe, let alone prime Calzaghe with healthy hands. Joe's handspeed and pure boxing ability is very rare. When Mayweather was asked who he admired as a boxer he replied immediately Joe Calzaghe. Smart guy that Pretty Boy.
