Calzaghe's fast slaps vs jones's fast hands + reflexes.

    Who really takes this?

( and i apologize if this has been done 10,000 times ).

If you're apologizing, why re-do it again in the first place? It has been done 10,000 times, and Jones wins it wide every time.

I voted Calzaghe UD because I believe this thread was made to try discredit Calzaghe, Im not saying JC couldnt win prime for prime, Im just saying I never even gave the poll a thought.

Here is another question.... prime Roy Jones vs ANY 168 lb fighter ever ?

    Exactly !

truth is between 160 and 175 you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who would beat roy H2H in a poll on this site and i'd have to agree.

It's the Jones fans that are delusional - three weeks ago all the Jones fans were saying he would beat Calzaghe, that he had finally gotten over the weight loss that somehow made his chin weak for 3 years etc. Now that Calzaghe (only 3 years younger than Roy) totally dominated him without breaking a sweat (and apparently hardly taking the fight seriously), clowing and showboating throughout, people say Jones would have beat him in his PRIME!

past prime JC vs old Jones - won wide with showboating and clowning around

prime JC vs prime Jones - faster JC with better chin takes the fight seriously and wins narrowly.

    Its as simple as that.

Calzaghe beats a 40 year old Jones, guess what???? Glen Johnson knocked him out 4 ****ing years ago. I said I hoped Roy would win... but knew Calzaghe would... Quit acting as if he overcame a milestone, Jones is and was SHOT.....

I guess a prime Jones was a myth....overrated fighter that beat 15 world champs and the first middleweight champ to ever get a heavyweight belt in 100 years... Calzaghe is so superior.....ATG Calzaghe is, holds wins over RJJ in his prime and Hopkins is better now than ever.....

Go Joe Calzaghe... best fighter of his generation.

The cut was the luck of the draw, not the result of Joe's style. Furthermore, in Roy's prime he does NOT get caught cleanly by Calzaghe.

**** it. I'm not going to write this all out over again; if you really want to see why I think Roy takes it KO 4-6 I've written it out a few times and if you want to check it out you know where to look.
