Calzaghe smelled the change in the wind and exited stage left.

Guys were more willing to come and see him and he knew it. There were TONS of huge money fights waiting for him and he exited. He was a great fighter, but will leave more questions than legacy.

Bika is quite good to be honest.
He has improved and should be at his best right now.
Reminds me of Johnson. A good fighter that comes up short against the very best.

Bika actually gave Ward a very comptetive fight. Far more so than what the Oakland judges wrote down on their score cards

If going life and death means only losing 3 rounds, then yes he did.

Joe was schooling Bika much the same as he did Lacy until in a middle round he was hit by a nasty, obviously deliberate headbutt that hurt him.

After that Joe still won the rounds, but was less dominant.

The very overrated Ward got some help from his home California referee in his fight with Bika. The home judges' scorecards were ridiculously wide, many unbiased observers had it a draw or 115-113.

Well the show time commentators only had Ward winning 116-112 against Bika.
