Prime joe Frazier v prime evander holyfield who wins ??

Hmmm...I have to think about this one. Both men would be tested to the utmost.

 

If Holyfiled fights the fight of his life like he did against tyson maybe. But fraziers workrate on the inside where tyson rested would be a problem. However if Holyfield can keep pushing frazier off balance, he might never get any leverage on the left hook.
Holyfield also usually blocked the left hook well and got hit by straight rights and uppercuts which frazier is devoid of.
Then again Frazier would work his body when holyfield wants a breather. Tough call.

Frazier but Joe would be put to a serious test, IMO Holyfield sees the final bell.

 

Joe Frazier wears out Evander like a frog in a blender, he ain't got the firepower to keep Joe off and this ain't Bert Cooper .. I see Evander gassing late and being TKO'ed sometime after 10

 

Holyfield went the distance with prime Bowe in a spirited fight. He could do the same with Frazier

 

Bowe is a far cry from Ali, Frazier went the distance 12,14,15 with Ali, as good as Holyfield is I don't see him tagging Frazier to the extent Ali did, he might land some while Frazier is coming in but he's not going to keep Frazier at a distance and out box him like Ali had moments of doing, I think Frazier would wear Holyfield down and sink him in deep water, Frazier actually threw plenty of uppercuts on the inside with Bonavena and Ali, Holyfield is really well rounded but doesn't have the meanness that Frazier did, and he for sure doesn't have the stamina, Holyfield stayed standing in some wars, but in a situation like that Frazier would pick up the pace and I don't think Holyfield could match it
