A prime Brown Bomber fights Marciano's title challengers.
    Walcott
    Charles 1
    Charles 2
    Lastarza
    ****ell
    Moore
    What would be the outcomes?

Well he already beat Walcott despite being past his best, so I think that one should be obvious. Moore said multiple times that the only fighter he never wanted to face was Joe Louis and I don't blame him. Roland Lastarza and Don C. are givens. Charles is the only man I'd pick to give a prime Louis trouble, but I think Joe would find a way to prevail at the end of the day.

I judge Louis as better than Marciano,

so naturally I think he wins all of these.

There's no point in putting prime Joe Louis in with challengers IMO. You can overlay his career onto another's and it is interesting maybe, but he needs champions, same as one or two other guys. Way too good for challengers. That's proven beyond all contradiction.

Yeah I agree.. The 1970's, and 1990's are about the only decades I can think of where multiple "champions" and Atg's existed in one era together and are probably the only two periods where he should be placed.

I'd say he handles them easily in his prime. No disrespect to those guys, but Joe was just a bit special in his prime.

I think Joe prevails but it would not be easy, Walcott was always trouble for Joe and Ezzard not an easy fight especially if he boxes Joe which he would.....I wouldn't underestimate Archie either experienced boxer and Archie holds the record for most KO's and was a pin point guy....I favor Joe but not easy...

Roland would be a late stop after an early chase and some good movement and counters by Roland...Joe gets him in the 13-14th

Louis said, if he had been prime he would have expected to dispose of Charles in about 7 rounds.
