Prime Joe Louis v Rocky's Challengers?

This thread is silly. Joe, totally shot, ****ed up Marcianos's grill with nothing more than a jab. Anyone who thinks the prime Joe Louis wouldnt have stopped Marciano with ease doesnt know his ass from a hole in the ground.

 

Easily? Who ever had an easy time with Marciano? Rocky was an animal.

I like Louis by knockout over Marciano. But if a swarmer out of a crouch like Godoy can take Louis 23 difficult rounds...Marciano would make it tough for joe. Marciano would probably put joe on the floor once or twice before Louis stops him. Rockets right hand was lethal.

 

So only YOU are deciding when Louis's prime was now are you? You criticise him for losing to Schmelling ( a guy who had held versions of a world title ) in his 25th fight, when funnily enough Marciano was fighting the world renowned Carmine Vingo in his 25th outing.


And you claim to be a bigger fan of Louis than McVey?:rofl:rofl

 

Louis is my number 1 heavyweight of all time, I think he would be a dominant force in the 50's and also in the 70's and 90's

I still think he has some tough fights in any era but I think he prevails and should he lose he was a tough guy in rematches

I think he would be victorious in the 50's but with some tough fights but I also think he could beat Frazier and Foreman in the 70's, dominate the 60's and be dominant in the 80's dispatching Holmes and the group. I also think he would KO Tyson, Lewis and Evander but not without tough moments and a few trips to the canvas possibly

Ali and Marciano would be his toughest fight but I think Louis would prevail and be successful over 15 rds and in a series of 5 fights with Ali may drop one but he can stop Ali

still in the era of multiple tough guys long careers are very hard to come by, wars kill

 

I rate Joe Louis number 1 greatest fighter of all time..so yes I am a much bigger fan than McVea, or you. You are a very unwelcomed addition to this forum I must Szy.
