The real world?? You mean the world where King used his influence to allow Ruiz to get away with his illegal tactics.

Notice that when King dumped him, he didn't win a single fight. Then, he's back on King's cards and he starts "winning?"

Without King, Ruiz would never have beaten anybody above the regional level. He'd be lucky to be the New England HW champion, let alone a "world" titlist.

    Zak, think rationally.

You use the same posts all the time (do you just save them to post them? - looks like it).

Because of this I have already considered these points.

I responded to the post 2 years ago.

Part of my response addressed your gross exaggerations.

Anyone can get KO'd cold by a puncher, Griffith vs Carter for an example. Johnny Ruiz was another product of Don King, decent fighter, spoiler (hug and hit behind the head) but Ruiz would lose to any very good heavyweight. At this point he has experience but would get Ko'd by Anyone who is worth there weight in the division

Whatever you may have said, this does not refute the fact that what Ruiz does is against the rules. Excessive holding has been prohibited since the introduction of the Queenbury rules. Of course there is subjectivity in what constitutes this, but Ruiz is SO excessive that any reasonable observer, not influenced by Don King's power, would recognize it as a violation of the rules.

And his outright ham-acting to force "low blow" calls is even more blatant and disgraceful.

Deprived of the illegal tactics King's influence allowed him to get away with, Ruiz is little more than a high-grade clubfighter. Fighting WITHIN the rules, he loses to world class fighter, every time.:yep

where was ruiz' attempts at faking low blows against rahman, oquendo, valuev, chagaev, mccline, tisdale

i dont think ruiz faked anything against johnson. ive seen that fight. he hit ruiz square in the nuts twice, once on his hip bone, and the one that got him DQ'd was borderline but LOW

the holy fight is the only fight he may have faked it. the angle wasnt good but it looked like a legal shot

you say ruiz is on the winning track his last 2 fights cause he is back with king. thats garbage. he smacked the **** out of tisdale and broke mccline jaw apparently. when he wasnt with king he lost 2 RAZOR THIN decisions to valuev and chagaev.

Mr. Ruiz will soon get a title shot and win his third world title to cement his legacy and Hall of Fame career.

since the wbc hands out eliminators like candy i think he will get a shot at the valuev chagaev winner. its his best chance anyway since hes fought both of them once

There is no such thing as a 'Prime" John Ruiz. He has good connections that keep getting him big fights. He is a glorified club fighter.

Ruiz beats Peter, and Chagaev in a rematch. He probably loses to Klitschko, but I'd be reluctant to count him out if he can take Klit's shots.
